Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Integrated Journal of Applied Technology and Informatics (IJATI) must comply with the journal’s Focus and Scope as well as the Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must demonstrate scientific merit, novelty, and relevance consistent with the journal’s focus and scope.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be written in proper and correct Indonesian in accordance with the rules of scientific writing. Authors are expected to ensure that the manuscript has undergone a review of grammar, spelling, and clarity of writing before submission. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or currently under review at any other journal or scientific publication medium.

Every submitted manuscript must be free of plagiarism content. Authors are advised to perform a similarity check before submitting their manuscripts. The editorial board will conduct a plagiarism check using Turnitin software to ensure the originality of the received manuscripts.

Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements will be reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in the manuscript’s field of study. The reviewers will provide constructive scientific feedback and recommendations to improve the quality of the manuscript’s content. The review process used by this journal employs a Double-Blind Review system, in which the reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to the authors.

The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests entirely with the Editor, and if necessary, is made in consultation with the Editorial Board, taking into account the evaluation results and recommendations from the reviewers. The final decision is not based solely on the reviewers’ recommendations but also on academic considerations and the editorial policies in effect at this journal.
