Publication Ethics

IJATI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement is based on the principles of academic integrity, transparency, fairness, and the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All articles published in IJATI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Under this license, users are permitted to share, adapt, distribute, and reproduce the published material in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based solely on the academic merit of the manuscript, including originality, significance, clarity, validity, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Editors shall:

  • Evaluate manuscripts fairly and without discrimination.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Take appropriate action when ethical concerns or misconduct are identified.
  • Ensure that all published content complies with ethical and academic standards.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers contribute to editorial decisions and help improve the quality of manuscripts through objective peer review.

Reviewers shall:

  • Review manuscripts objectively and constructively.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding manuscript content.
  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
  • Inform editors of any suspected plagiarism, duplication, or ethical concerns.
  • Decline review assignments if a conflict of interest exists.

Duties of Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted work is original, accurate, and ethically conducted.

Authors shall:

  • Submit only original work.
  • Properly acknowledge and cite the work of others.
  • Ensure that manuscripts are not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Accurately present research findings and supporting data.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Correct significant errors discovered after publication.
  • Include as authors only those who have made substantial contributions to the research.

Plagiarism and Academic Misconduct

Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, fabricated data, falsified information, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected or retracted as appropriate.

IJATI reserves the right to investigate suspected misconduct and take corrective actions, including rejection, retraction, notification of institutions, or temporary submission bans.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their published work.

By submitting and publishing in IJATI, authors grant the journal the right of first publication while agreeing that the article will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license permits others to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution — appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and source.

Ethical Oversight

The Editorial Board of IJATI is committed to maintaining ethical oversight throughout the publication process and will follow internationally recognized ethical standards in handling complaints, appeals, conflicts of interest, corrections, and retractions.

Any ethical concerns regarding submitted or published articles may be reported to the Editorial Office for investigation.
